In the 2015 QS rankings of world universities, France appears as the third most represented in the world university rankings country. The top 3 world is dominated by the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Harvard and Cambridge in France when it was ENS Paris (ENS), Polytechnic and UPMC (Pierre and Marie Curie University) who are spared Game.
This twelfth edition of the QS World University Rankings 2015/16 confirms the domination of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as the best university in the world. It is closely followed by Harvard (2nd), Cambridge University and Stanford University (3rd =). ETH Zurich in 9th position among the top 10. The biggest increase in the rankings of the leading group is that of the two major universities in Singapore, which enters the top 15 for the first time. Finally, the Australian University Australian National University (19th) also returns in the top 20.
With 46 universities listed in the QS World University Rankings this year, France is beaten only by the US (157) and the UK (75). The hexagon square 11 universities in the top 250 and two in the top fifty: ENS (23rd) and ParisTech Ecole Polytechnique (40th). Note however that in the top 10, French universities are all down in their rankings, except La Sorbonne Paris IV.
