10 tips to boost memory

Can not learned your lessons, dates, proper names? You happen to have memory lapses? This is not inevitable! There are simple techniques to improve its ability to memorize: they tell you everything!

1. Be careful

It is often said that good listening in class represents 50% of working memory: it is true! The more you are focused on the information you get, the better you understand them, and you are likely to remember them. It’s worth making an effort and keep the chatter to the interclass! Same thing when you revise you: you isolate and remove anything that could affect your concentration (telephone, internet, TV ).

2. Make sorting

3. Play the parrot

8. Exit stress

Being depressed or stressed can disrupt the learning process. In these moments, it is indeed less available and attentive to the information received. 9. Treat your plate

If there is no miracle diet or magic pill that allows retaining all by heart, some foods stimulate the memory. This is the case of fruits and vegetables that contain vitamins and antioxidants, but also fish, chocolate and all foods containing Omega 3, which reinforce the walls of neurons. Conversely, avoid too much fatty foods and excess caffeine or alcohol that disrupt digestion and sleep

10. Beef up your memory

To maximize the capabilities of your memory, you need to train regularly with small simple exercises. Each day, try to remember a phone number or a list of objects. Similarly at the end of the day, try to reconstruct the thread of what you did, who you met, what he or she was wearing, what you said, what you ate for lunch, etc. .
